I have had the pleasure of Emma’s training since we first got our cocker spaniel, Poppy at 8 weeks old!

 

From our first session she became one of Poppy’s favourite humans and it was clear to me that her expertise and understanding of dog behaviour was amazing. Poppy was initially extremely nervous of other dogs, people and the world generally so Emma worked to tailor a training programme for us involving positive reinforcement, desensitisation exercises and gradual exposure.

We quickly noticed signs that Poppy’s behaviours could improve and we began to trust that if we followed Emma’s routine and techniques religiously and gave it time we were going to see a more confident dog. And that is what happened, we now have an entirely different dog who is much more happy, confident and well adjusted.

We are so grateful we met Emma, it’s so reassuring to see with her that the well being of the dog is always her top priority!
